 12-13-24

Hello, Parents!

The Winter Concert was wonderful! We are so proud of all our 2nd graders who worked so hard to bring us a great concert!

Your student brought home an 'adjective' surprise activity today. This activity is not required; however, it will be a lot more fun if all students will participate! We highly encourage your child to find something that will fit in their bag and write as many adjectives (up to 10) that they can think of to describe their item. But please remind your scholar that their item has to be kept a SECRET and they don't want to spoil the surprise and tell anyone what they brought. Students will have fun presenting their items Monday - Wednesday.

If you signed up to bring in items for our Winter Celebration, please send those in with your scholar as soon as possible, if you haven't done so already. 😊

On Tuesday, December 17th, your scholar will bring home their final paragraph of the insect research project. Please have your scholar practice reading this paragraph at home. Students will need to bring

this paper back on Wednesday, January 8th, as students will be presenting their insect project on January 8th - 10th. If your child did a diorama, please have them bring it on January 8th.

Winter conferences are by teacher or parent request and will take place as we return to school in January. If you would like to meet with your child's teacher, please email them. Thank you.
