Academics:
Math: Students will continue to learn about fractions and enjoy review games.
Science: Scholars have enjoyed learning about magnets these past few weeks. Yesterday, we all had a wonderful time exploring magnetism in four, hands-on stations!
History: Scholars will continue to learn about civil rights and civil rights leaders.
Spalding: Scholars have taken their final Spalding and Phonogram assessments. Next week, scholars will play review games and do review activities to reinforce what they have learned. Scholars will also work in their cursive practice book. Any unfinished pages in the book would be a good review of cursive writing during the summer.
Grammar: Scholars will review concepts they have learned through review worksheets and games. Students will write a paragraph on Monday about what their favorite literature book was and why.
Literature: Students have finished reading Charlotte's Web and on Friday, May 23rd, they will enjoy a literacy celebration, participating in various activities and crafts based upon Charlotte's Web.
Have a wonderful weekend!
